Welcome to my newly revised and updated website!
My name is Julian and I started off making horseshoes an embarassingly long time ago. I then trained as an agricultural engineer and travelled the world for many years in that capacity. And then in 2008 I went back to the anvil and set up my own workshop. I started out making trivets and camping equipment until one day I was asked by a friend if I could build them a woodburning stove. Ten years and two workshop moves later, I'm still making them!
A lot has changed in that time; I now draw everything on computer and have the components laser cut, and my current designs bear little resemblance to that very first stove all those years ago. I now have more stoves in more designs than ever and have shipped stoves to Ireland, Europe and even the USA! But all of the door handles and catches are still beaten hot over the anvil and all my stoves are hand built by me. The principles of functionality, large doors for large logs, hotplates for cooking and a long burn time haven't changed at all and neither has the aesthetic. It should do all the above and look nice too. It should also last a lifetime.
If you are interested in purchasing a woodburning stove, feel free to drop me an email or give me a call. I will be happy to discuss your requirements without obligation.
