Cookstoves are the latest addition to my range. What I've done is to take a well proven standard stove and extend it's capabilities by stretching it upwards, making it much taller and allowing me to fit a taller door. This leaves plenty of room for grill racks inside the firebox so you can cook directly over the fire, as well as on the hotplate. This gives a highly effective compromise between a standard woodburning stove and a more expensive oven or range stove.
The rails for the grill racks are located at three different heights above the fire depending on the heat required. A large air intake allows you to easily adjust the temperature.
This stove has an oversized hotplate for cooking or warming food. Sideplates are an optional extra which enable extra pans to be kept warm while waiting for other things to finish cooking.
The cookstove can also be fitted with a large front window, either round or square, depending on the desired aesthetic.
